Reading some stuff in one of my macro books, I came acrross this in the college decision-making section, titled "Selecting a Major and Career"
"But beware. Remember that many people like the same kinds of work. For example, many people want to be singers, artists, actresses and actors, and athletes. Consequently, supply is high and average salaries are low. You should enter occupations such as these only if you desire and skill is high relative to your competition."
I care too much about money to be an artist anymore. Sad, but true, and that I so strongly agree with this statement just proves it. I gave up before the fight even began because I just didn't think I had what it took to stand out.

I felt so horrible when I woke up. Considering the last time I ate was 9pm and I woke up at 1pm the next day, yeah. That's probably why. My stomach was very upset with me, sorry stomach. I had some soup, not my favorite kind but it was something. I need to buy more soup, that was the last one, but so lazy. So lazy.
Come to think of it I haven't really been feeling like shopping lately, I've been eating out too much. I desperately need to fix that.
I really want to try making the Ruby Tea from Ruby Tuesday here at home, supposedly it is just Pom Wonderful juice mixed with plain iced tea. So, there's some encouragement to go to the store lol. I hate myself! |

I stubbed my left pinky toe on my guitar case today I have no idea how. But it started to rip up the nail, and yet didn't manage to rip any skin, so there is just this purple color underneath half of the nail and I am pretty sure it's just blood sitting there wanting to bleed out ohgod. I wonder if it'll fall off.
Also we went to the lake yesterday for barbecue, and I think I have probably 15 bug bites. I can't think of seeing any bugs there besides ants, but one of them is the width of a quarter and a few others are about half its size, that's pretty fucking big for bites, I wonder if I'm allergic.
But there's not much I can do about it, I'm just slathering on lotion and hoping for the best I guess. Maybe tomorrow I'll get some benadryl.
Also I've said it a thousand times, but SO SICK OF STARING AT THIS LAYOUT. Somebody make me a Superjail layout, I'm not even sure what the fuck I want it to look like, I just want something different and it needs to have the warden, that is all I know. Aaaaaaaaaaa. |

I am so off the ball lately. I need to just stick to what has always worked. I need to start self-reflecting more, and not welcoming chaos with open arms. I know these things already. It is sad I needed to be reminded so frequently in the past couple of years. It is sad that I NEEDED. Disgusting.
I am so fucking disgusted. Who the fuck fucks with other peoples' stuff to get back at a different but related person? FUCKING PSYCHOTIC. So pissed. So angry. Loss for words.
Too forgiving. Not perceptive enough. Dull. IDIOT. Me. But don't be bitter. This is just a lesson in the walk of life. Be more careful. But don't lose faith in peoples' ability to be honest just because one person wrecked your trust. This is not the end of the world, but the beginning of a new one.
I feel retarded, I'm speaking in all like metaphors and shit. I'm truly angry and hurt, though. BUT I CAN'T HELP THIS.
There is gonna be some serious thinking time coming up, and some serious reconstruction to my habits. There are so many things I need to set right with myself. More understanding, and beyond that, even into my daily life-related habits. Reform. REVOLUTION.

so I haven't had cartoon network access and have also had mostly bad internet for anything other than AIM usage this past year. It's been rough.
But Bob and I marathoned Superjail last week. It is... beautiful. I would like to work there, someday.
I actually feel slightly ashamed even joking about that haha, but seriously, I don't even know what the hell I'm watching when I watch it.

| Summer part 1: IT'S OVER |

Tomorrow I must discard my blissfully childish work-free days in favor of GREEN GREEN DOLLARS. I kinda' like my schedule this session, it's the same every day! That doesn't happen during regular semesters. I like summer! I'll be working from 12:30 to 5:15 every day, so I don't really have to get up especially early. I'm still gonna' try to get up at 9 every day, so that I can eat breakfast and a moderate lunch before heading off to classes with a snack for the 15 minute break inbetween. I also must, MUST remember bottled water for this schedule, I think I would die without it. Essentially 5 hours of talking! I'm guessing they give the students breaks in a 2 hour class, but I'm preparing myself as though there won't be any. I CAN DO IT.
The other unusual thing is, I'm gonna be working with our blind student this semester. That should be interesting. I'm a little bit intimidated, but I've heard he's a nice guy, if a little gruff.

I'm back and I still don't feel much like posting!
Major accomplishments:
- got drunker than I have been previously (which isn't much to say for me)
- officially attended a party that involved streaking --and gargoyling!
- had gyros for the first time in like 4 years why aren't there any gyro places in the area where I live? oh right, IT SUCKS
- had bubble tea for like 5 days straight and it was only 5-10 minute drive away, AGAIN, FUCK CARROLLTON FOR NOT HAVING THAT
- basically decided fuck the state of Georgia
- chowed down a few times at ranch frosty
- finally saw Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny wtf is wrong with me
there was more but. you know. Oh, and I got an A on my first paper in my class! Too bad the day the website evaluation was due, I WAS SICK AND SLEPT THE ENTIRE DAY AND FORGOT TO DO IT. I win. D: But if the A paper is any indication, perhaps my last two papers will at least get me a 75 in the writing area of the course...
... I wonder if I can get in to U of I. I've got a lot of planning and thinking to do. I've got like a 2.75 GPA currently, but I dunno, that's probably not that great... maybe I should keep putting school off and just go to Parkland? I dunno! AHHH. I'm getting so old too. :[ It would be highly advantageous now if I got financial aid with my dad because I'm still of the age to do so, and he's on disability. I mean, damn. That's like, grants galore, most likely.
Ohhhh I don't wanna think about this in detail yet, it's my first day back. BETTER GO DO SOME ERRANDS. YEAH. ADULT STUFF. GRR. |

Eating yogurt with granola and strawberries. Life is pretty good. All I care about is food, pretty much.

Bob is back, but I leave on Wednesday, so it's gonna be a short time for us to relax. :[ Especially when I have so much to do still, agh~
- read 60ish pages for class before I leave
- keep up with responses for class
- drop in the office to leave my PC with boss lady
- get a hair cut/much overdo eyebrow wax/buy good shampoo and conditioner
- get an oil change
- get some clothes dry cleaned
- vaccuum car
It's the class work that's gonna kill me the most, trying to balance that and time with Bob since he's been away a week and I'm about to leave for 2. ;D;
Nevertheless, trip will be fun~ ANNIE I'M COMING TO RAPE YOU so be ready. AND ALL YOU OTHER HOMOS. But noone is as homo as Annie. For me. |

So I have the coolest phone ever.
It's the LG 8700-- the metal flip phone Verizon released a few years back. Unfortunately, it's discontinued, so it will prove harder to find replacements as the years go on.
I seriously never want to surrender this model, though, it will take some very powerfully bad-ass phone, both functionally and physically, to sway my interests from my sweet sweet metal phone.
Unfortunately, I am not too good at handling my electronics. I've dropped the thing a lot in the past year, and ever since a few months back, I've had problems with the camera. It won't work about 80% of the time... The warranty is out, but I can get it replaced for $50....Except all the stores in the lower states are completely out of stock.
This, however, sparked in me a thought: I WILL BE IN CHICAGO NEXT WEEK. The support tech mentioned there was low stock in the upper states, and I asked if I could get my phone replaced by any store. She said I was free to, and I would just be responsible for checking the various stores myself. FIRST ONE I CALL... BAM. They have it-- they even HOLD a unit for me. ;D; I WILL ONCE AGAIN HAVE THE MOST AWESOME FLIPPHONE EVER MADE, AND IT WILL BE BRAND-NEW. FOR JUST $50.
I am so stoked it's ridiculous. It's just a phone. But it is my destiny.

I am so directionless this week. Been taking care of hilarious cats, though, which is fun. I love that one of them must race to the toilet whenever he hears you in the bathroom-- he must watch it flush or he gets upset. I also put this big paper bag on the floor, and he crawled right into it to claim it and sat there for like an hour. Cat, you are the coolest, I wanna be you.
The other one peed on the bed though, when I left him unsupervised all of 10 minutes, maybe 15. :| He needs to get his balls chopped already, maybe that will show him.
I have to write a paper by Saturday. I'm not incredibly stressed over it, but I probably need to be further than I am. Oops! I guess I'll get to it sooner or later.
Meanwhile, I plowed through a lot of Mad Ship today. I am liking it a lot! I don't feel like posting about it, though!

Checked the battery on my car with autozone, it's fine. Most likely the starter, which I replaced not too long ago so I'm kinda bummed about that. This next time I'm getting one with a lifetime warranty, though.
Also, then the dudes who repair stuff for PH decided to show up at 3:30 pm to fix our air conditioning. It was 88 degrees out. And inside the store, too! For my entire shift. Yeeeeeah.
At least I made bux so it was worth it? Oh but then I noticed my paycheck was gone from my purse... it's likely just in my car, but I can't check til tomorrow morning. I will be pretty sad if it's gone. $35 dollars lol but HEY that's a good bit of cash.
Jeez just. Car, why didn't you wait one more week to break? I just have this ONE week of UWG work left, which involves lots of back-and-forth commuting, whyyyyy car.
The milk I bought also somehow punctured in Bob's car and some milk got on the floor... But luckily we managed to save his floor, and some of the milk, but I sure dunno what to do with it now cuz it has to sit sideways lol. MAYBE I SHOULD TAPE IT. Give it a bandaid.
On the plus side, we tried what turned out to be probably the best Chinese I've had in months, at this little typical looking joint that opened recently. Bob's dish was excellent, as was mine. We also got steamed dumplings, holy shit awesome. Watched Stranger Than Fiction, which made me tear up a little bit, annnnd yeah. Boring life is boring.

My car has broken down again. It seems likely that the battery has just crapped out, or has lost all power, and we're gonna see tomorrow. It means I have to get up at 7 though, as Bob is nice enough to accept my pleas to be driven to work before his class by him so I can go to autozone before my serving shift. <3
Hopefully it'll just be that and not the alternator or something even more complicated. Pretty soon, I am going to know every single thing that could go wrong with a car, ever, just from owning a 1995 LeBaron. I SWEAR. Who needs a bachelor's program when you have my car and HANDS ON EXPERIENCE?
On more positive notes.. I got my rad skirt the other day. Gosh it is just the raddest.
